LGSP-Lufthansa Ground Services Portugal, a subsidiary fully owned by Deutsche Lufthansa AG (Lufthansa Commercial Holding GmbH), was founded in May 2011 with its operational center based in Portugal.
Evolved from Lufthansa’s Ground Operations Division in Europe as a separate and independent Portuguese entity for ground handling services at Portuguese airports, to a global provider of Remote Sales and Ground Ops Competence Center, as well as a developer and tester of Innovative Services for Airlines. Remote Station Management is offered also in Funchal and Ponta Delgada.
LGSP operates 4 customer service centers: 3 at the main Portuguese airports LIS, OPO, and FAO, and one at the head office in Porto, located in the financial district of the city.
